Vehicle Purchase Policy - FX Motors Broker
- Vehicle Purchase: The buyer formally requests FX Motors Broker, through its authorized dealer, to participate in Copart or IAAI auctions. All vehicles are purchased directly from FX Motors Broker, not Copart.
- Vehicle Use: The vehicle must not be used, moved, repaired or modified until the buyer receives the signed invoice and title.
- Payments: Payments are made directly to FX Motors in cash, Zelle or Bank transfer.
- Documentation: Documentation costs $150 and 7% tax on the value of the vehicle.
- Transportation: FX Motors Broker may recommend transportation services, but the buyer is responsible for transportation and payment. Transportation, export, and any other associated costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- Taxes and Registration: Buyer is responsible for paying state taxes and registration fees. FX Motors Broker is required by law to collect state taxes ranging from 4% to 7.5%, depending on the buyer's location.
- Export: FX Motors Broker is responsible for coordinating national and international transportation to the buyer's destination, who will assume the associated costs.
- Payment Times: Buyer has 2 days to complete payment after winning an auction. If payment is not made within this period, the buyer will be responsible for any additional charges such as storage or re-listing penalties.
- Auction Rates:
- Copart: Starting on the 3rd day, $50 for late payment and $30 per day for storage. Re-listing costs $600 or 10% of the vehicle's value, whichever is greater.
- IAAI: From the 3rd day, 2% penalty for late payment and $40 per day for storage. Re-listing costs $1,000 or 15% of the value, whichever is greater.
- Use of Salvage Vehicles: Buyer should not use vehicles with Salvage titles until they are approved by a state inspector and issued with a rebuilt title.

- Advice: FX Motors Broker offers advice and recommendations based on experience, but does not guarantee the quality of the vehicle nor is it responsible for decisions made by the buyer.
